On Friday, 1st of March 2013 the French-German designer duo AUGUSTIN TEBOUL, winner of the
Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize, presented their autumn/winter collection during Paris Fashion
Week at the prestigious Hotel Plaza Athénée.
In a controlled decadent atmosphere, static models where setting the scene in a sumptuous
salon of the hotel. All dressed in the black sophisticated garments of the label, they were placed in
a chaotic landscape. Turned-over chairs, tables, accumulated carpets, brought calm and pleasure
to a devastated scenery accompanied by the melody of opera sounds.
The autumn/winter collection 13/14 of AUGUSTIN TEBOUL on the theme “Somewhen” is inspired
by different cultures and the desire for a timeless era. The monochromatic creations developed by
a complex handcrafted work, mix extravagance and sobriety. Variations of black are created by the
mix of textures like leather, transparencies, embroideries and knitting.
With different ethnic elements, this winter collection is constructed around graphic lines. It
combines muslin, leather, tulle, wool, tassels, fringes, and embroideries made with SWAROVSKI
ELEMENTSTM beads. Sophisticated accessories like gloves, head pieces, socks and scarfs are finishing
a timeless, modern and wintery look.
